By registering for an account, entering an access code, or using the CMD in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Acceptable Use Policy, and our Privacy Policy.
If you are registering on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not register for or use the CMD.
Access to the CMD requires a valid access code and a registered account. By registering, you agree to the following:
Your use of the CMD is subject to the rules set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary:
Safeguarding checks, academic research, journalistic investigation, organisational due diligence, and good-faith data contributions supported by public sources.
Harassment, vigilante action, malicious submissions, data scraping, commercial resale, credential sharing, and any unlawful use of CMD data.

The CMD is an informational resource that compiles publicly reported information. It is critical that you understand the following:
The CMD does not make legal findings, determinations of guilt, or judgements of any kind. Inclusion in the database does not imply that an individual has committed any offence. All records reflect publicly reported allegations, investigations, or outcomes. Users must independently verify all information before relying on it for any decision-making purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Digital Alibi Inc., its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
We may suspend or terminate your access to the CMD at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to a breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
Upon termination, your right to access the CMD ceases immediately. No refund will be provided for any unused portion of your access code where termination results from a breach of these terms. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us through our contact page. No refund will be provided for any unused access period.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the CMD. Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users by email or through the platform.
Your continued use of the CMD after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to any changes, you should stop using the CMD and close your account.
